GOD, WHY ME? WHY AM I HERE? WHY AREN'T THINGS WORKING OUT FOR ME?
Do any of these questions constantly bombard your mind? You've spent thousands of dollars and many years working towards your dream, after all, faith without works is dead, right? (James 2:26). Years later here you are uncertain of, well...everything! You're not exactly where you thought you would be, there's no growth and you feel stuck. I can totally relate! There were many nights when tears flooded my pillow. I questioned my position in life. Educated, but no job. What could it be? It was ME! I was in my own way. There I was making my own plans when the plans that God had for me were totally different. He told me to, "GET AWAY." Get away?? From what God? He said from everything that is distracting you from fulfilling your true purpose. Hmmm, this got me to thinking. There was soooo much I needed to get away from. I was esteeming man too highly. I had more faith in employers than I did my God who owns and giveth everything. I needed to rediscover myself and work toward fulfilling my true purpose. This is when my latest single, "Get Away," was birthed. God has already blessed me with the gift, one that I was totally undermining. He helped me to embrace it and to use it. Those questions have been answered and because of my obedience I found myself reaping rewards. I dare you to give it a try. Seek his face, ask him what his will is for your life and trust it. You're on the road to success. And you're super excited because it's everything you've ever wanted! Not long after you get started, here comes a detour. I hear you...thinking, "Great, now it's gonna take forever to get to my destination." And yeah, I know, time is everything...right? You're discouraged, yet you continue...good job!
Not much further down you come to a dead end and you're like, "OMG! Are you kidding me? Where'd that come from?" You thought you took the right road. Now, tired and discouraged, you're faced with the decision of what to do. Here are 3 things to consider:
ASK Him to give you strength to continue on your journey and to fulfill your goal and maximize your purpose. You can't ask for direction and when given, not follow. FOLLOW his lead without question. Doubt shouldn't play a role here. Trust Him. The route he gives is undoubtedly the best and will certainly get you to your destination- SUCCESS. Now, will you follow his lead and pass the test or choose to disobey, create your own path and fail? The choice is yours. |
THIS ONE'S FOR YOU...Have you ever questioned your existence? Your potential? Your purpose? Wanted to give up when following your passion because doors were shut in your face over & over again? Then said NO when God told you to GO? Does the word Discouraged ring a bell? Wasn't that you? You thought quitting was your only option, but a still small voice told you to HOLD ON? A little ray of hope appeared and there you sat, reassured that YOU COULD DO IT! Guess what?? Yes you can! There is sooooo much potential in you! God has blessed you with a special gift, which He wants you to use- PURPOSE. His command for you to go is confirmation that the way has already been prepared. Follow His lead. He knows what He's doing. What are you waiting for? GO GO GO!!
